Bagel ingredients

- 600g flour
- 20g fresh yeast
- 1tbsp oil
- 1tbsp sugar
- 1sp honey
- 1tsp salt
- 300ml water
- sesame, whole poppy or oatmeal
An American favourite bread product, a perfect introduction to the world of pastries.
Put in the mild water the sugar, crumble in it the yeast and let it sit for around 15minuts.
In a bowl, mix the flour and the salt, the water with the yeast and add the oil. Work them, until dough becomes flexible.
Cover it up, and leave in a hot place until it doubles in size (around 1h).
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
Put some flour on a board (so the dough won't stick), and cut the dough up to 8 pieces.
Make dumplings out of them and drill a hole in the middle of them.
Cover it again, and leave for 30mins.
In a pot, boil up 2l of water and add 1tsp of salt and 1tsp of honey.
Put in the dumplings, cook both sides around 15s, put them on a baking sheet.
Season it with as you like (poppy, oatmeal, sesame)
Bake in the oven for 15mins.
