Tuna steak ingredients

serves 3
  • 400g fresh tuna steak
  • 1medium (250g) red bell pepper (diced)
  • 1medium (250g) yellow bell pepper (diced)
  • 1medium (150g) red onion (diced)
  • 1tbsp (15g) olive oil
  • lamb's lettuce
  • salt, pepper, lime


Step 1

Preheat the pan.

Step 2

Oil both sides of the steak (no need to salt).

Step 3

Cook for 90 seconds per side, for a medium-rare steak.

Step 4

Try not to move the steak while cooking it.

Step 5

Cooking times: medium-rare 1, 1 and a half minute per side. Medium 2 minutes per side. Well-done 3-4 minutes per side. The more you cook it, the more chewy it becomes.

Step 6

Mix the diced vegetables with the salt, pepper, lime juice and olive oil.
